	Best FPS war games? Put an end to popups!

I'm looking for some new first person shooter war games. So no strategic games this time.

I enjoyed BF1942 very much, but it somehow seemed like a beta version or something. You know what I mean? Just something that it really wasn't finished? I haven't tried out the Road to Rome yet though. Sounds were kind of dorky, it was lagging a bit too, and it was just.. I bet is one helluva game in multiplayer, but as a single player it first was awesome but then you just kind of got tired of it.

Medal of Honor I liked very much, I also played speerhead because it was good. Yes, I liked it thank you.

Ghost Recon, yep, that was pretty good too, but I wouldn't want to play very simular game to it just now, because it's kind of .. old.

Raven Shield was nice!

Right now I'm playing Delta Force: Black Hawk Down and I like it very much. I like the music, and the feeling in this game. But this is also lacking something?? I don't know just yet what it is, but this doesn't seem like a complete game to me either.

So, can you recommend me any FPS war games that are not in this list? What games should I be looking for that are now about to be released, or in the makings?

DD, I have that.. Yes it's a good game. I think it might be the best yet, though it's getting a bit old too, but definitely a good game.

Tribes (and later versions) are still quite popular for online play...........you should check those out.

I like Enemy Territory (Wolfenstein). It's a good game with some somewhat innovative features, and it's free to download. I liked it better than Medal of Honor.

I'm having good fun with Vietcong lately. No vehicles to drive or plains to fly, just a good infantery game .

And the SP is actually pretty good too, though at times very difficult.

SP = Single Player (mode)
IE the campaign.

I'd say VC (vietconc) is somewhere between Operation Flashpoint and Battlefield 1942 when it comes to arcade versus simulation (realism).
A good mix of playability and tension.
The soundtrack is brilliant and graffics are very good.

Havn't played america's army but I saw there is a new patch out ( 1.9) with a record size of over 350 MB (that's the patch only people, not the complete game !!! )

Might give it a try someday

I've been playing America's Army off and on since it came out. I give it 6 out of 10 stars. In addition to good maps and graphics, I like how they have handled the weapons recoil and models, and the voice communications.

Thanks, but no need to. I have a very fast but capped cable internet line.

I have a max of 10 Gig a month (of which 1.5G upload, and nighttime halves your DL/UL traffic so you can have 20G ), I like to have some spare to play around with and i'm reaching the limit.

I can buy more G but don't really see why. And if you do go over the limit, you get thrown to smallband (very, very slow smallband)

well give it a try , you can read many reviews , but in the end its you the individual player who has to make up his or her mind if they like it or not , .......
