	Which Socio (or) Economic Class is Truly Racist? Browse Apolyton AD-FREE

(In my experiences) Every chat room available seems to harbour some pseudo ghetto moron constantly spouting off what race he is or how his daily affairs are going with people of other races. Do people honestly have to care at all about this bullsh*t, or is frustration with such blindly repeated issues a well kept form of subtle racism itself?

In the end - who concerns themselves with "race" the most, and why?

I find people on either extreme of the 'class system' would be more Racist, poor people because they are ignorant and can be pursauded by Tabloids/Racist parties scapegoating ala the National Front in London. The Rich Upper Classes are bad as well, they should know better, but since many of the lower classes in America are composed of blacks, they are not too caring for thier cause - after all improvement of conditions of blacks and rasicm against them would threaten the entire race of slaves they keep.

Thats my $2 anyway.....

The lower social classes are racist because the coloured people are competitors on the job market.
The middle classes are racist because they fear for their safety and because they fear descending to the lower social classes, consisting of coloured people.
The higher classes are racist because now they're on the top, they feel superior to everyone else.

In other words, everyone's racist.

The most racist group of people you are likely ever to meet are the lawyers, sociologists, community workers and others who claim to fight racial discrimination through court cases and trying to introduce anti-racism laws.

Why? Because they have the most to lose if racism disappears so they promote racism as an issue. This highlights socio-economic differences and encourages stereotypes such as that most black people are drug dealing criminals and heightens the fears of other groups so they in turn adopt racist behaviour as a defensive measure.

Heh-heh. I expanded on the same theme a few weeks ago with my "law of the minimum:" No matter how much money the government spends upon a problem, you will always have the minimum number of people suffering from that problem as it takes to staff a 15 person lobbying group in Washington DC.

If it takes 1.2 million sufferers of Crises A to support 15 DC area salaries, then that's the minimum of Crises A sufferers that will exist in America, despite all efforts to solve Crises A.

In order to make sure that there will be an appropriate number of sufferers, in Europe we have socialists MP making regularly new laws designed to help the sufferers, but with enough perverse consequences which result in worsening the fate of the sufferers.

Not in the USA. There are people who get rich late in life, maybe from taking over a small business, and even though they'd be rich they still act and think lower or middle class. At the same time, a lot of Americans who are middle class live upper-class style by taking out lots of credit.

From what I've seen though, racism in the US has a lot more to do with which state one lives in than what social or economic class.

Depends:

Elderly are very racist because of the times they grew up in; yet old ppl generally hate everyone.

Whites; generally the lazy and the lower middle class who feel that those dam immigrants stole their jobs.

Blacks are racists towards everyone who is not black, except to those who have lots of money.

Mexicans are racist towards everyone, period.

Asians are racist towards everyone who doesn't speak their dialect of whatever language they speak; but you never really catch this because they usually just pretend that they can't speak English.

Indians are probably the least racist of people, but they do hold a lot of prejudisms and misconceptions.

Poor people hate everyone, because they are poor. Yet, while they continue to say money doesn't by happiness, the really want money to rent it for an hour or two.

Middle Class people dislike which ever race in their area is encroaching on their economic status.

Upper Class generally aren't racists, though they dislike anyone who is poorer then they are and black people and women who try and golf at their club.

The only people in this world who does not hold a degree of racism are the old, I guess. As they hate everyone for being younger than them...
