Oh, and GS has sent us 238 gold plus chivalry plus horses

They also have 6 knights NE E from Pamplona! Toledo and New Madrid are still up, but there are two Ansars NE from Sevilla. And the most important, our military is ave compared to ND (but weak to GoW)

It's not good when we can get a shot of both fronts in one picture.

11 Riders in the southern GoW stack, 1 turn from New Madrid, 2 turns from undefended Barcelona.

Near Sevilla, ND took the worker bait and then attacked and killed the Spear in Sevilla. Both Warriors are still there. Those Ansars are now 3/4 and 2/4.



Something just struck me - has GoW actually attacked any units? I don't think so. They haven't entered their Golden Age yet! I have a daring idea for our diplomatic corps - reestablish contact with GoW - tell them we are fending off ND just fine and are now producing Knights to turn the tide, but would welcome their assistance in driving the Arabs northwards. The idea might intrigue them - they would be assured some quick victories with their Riders, their Golden Age would outlast ND's, and they can have all of Northern Bob. This is a prime time for an unsuspected backstab.

I just got back from spending the day with my girlfriend. I will be back late tonight (@10:30pm PST) to play the save. She took the day off today from work and I promised to spend time with her.

I'm afraid I can't stay up until then tonight. (1:30AM EDT)

Psuedo-Orders:
-I think we should move the Leon stack South onto the mountain to start our return to Pamplona.
-The spear by Salamanca is to head to Pamplona for upgrade
-The pike by Salamanca is to go to Merida for defense
-move the workers at Pamplona out of harm's way
-4 Knight upgrades to do - check our mil. strength before and after doing so
-we want our galleys on the east coast to move towards one another

Find out what GS' plan is with regard to the Ansars and those Knights. How many more GS units will enter the fray next turn, and where? Thank them profusely for Chivalry, Horses and the gold.

Results

Received Chivalry, Horses, and 249g from GS.

ND has completed their road into Cow Valley and renamed Leon to Fort Lowenmutt

Upgraded 4 horsemen to knights one at a time. Each time checked Mil Strengths. No changes. We started Ave to ND, ended Ave to ND. Remain Weak to GoW.
We are weak to Lego and GS. Only strong to Vox.

GS knights (6) guard passageway to Pamplona.
GoW Riders (11), (1), (2) in 3 stacks trying to go around them.

We are down 1 lux due to losing Ivory. We are giving our only Ivory to GS.

Vox now has 3 cities.

GS plan for Riders: Attack the wounded one. However, he fears that GoW is trying to distract the GS Knights to get them out of position. And the defender rules in the mountains. Therefore, things are still undecided, GS continues to look for an edge.

Sent WM and 31g to GS.
