	The Star Wars Kid Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

A friend of mine showed me these two video clips a few months ago. The first was a video of this fat kid who was pretending to fight villains with what looks like shower curtain rod in front of a rolling video camera. This anonymous video found its way onto kazaa, and just a few days later a man edited the video by adding lightsabers on the end of teh pole and adding some stuff.
In short, it was very entertaining, especially for star wars fans who wanted to laugh at someone who was an even bigger nerd (). Anyway, the kid was identified, and the story of teh Star Wars kid and the effort to get him casted in episode III i found as an amazing story. the downloads of the video clips is estimated to be into the millions, and all completely by accident... check out the story

I doubt it, elijah.

I never saw the big deal with this. It wasn't that funny to begin with, and the fact that people would waste the time adding effects to it is, well, sad.

There have been like a dozen update threads to this already.

There have also been not 2 but 50 odd spin-offs. See http://www.jedimaster.net/ and search the forums for even more recent updates (the kid is now sueing his friends and god knows what else happened that the links in the first post don't seem to mention).

The files are small, ranging from 1 to 3 MB each, 4 files total.

Y'know, I can understand that it's not universally funny. Some of you will find it mildly amusing, some won't find it particularly humorous at all. But some, including me, think it's an absolute pisser.
