WIndows xp home brother win xp pro
I have p4 My brother amd 1.6
Radeon 8500 Geforce 5600
Soyo motherboard gigabyte mobo
512 ram kingston same

It's not hardware its the virus I mean game Rise of Nations. We get this error nt/authority/ system some other stuff on the error message remote procedure protocol. We get it after installing rise of nations. It shuts down our pc every time after 2 to 3 minutes.

I get this message with ROn installed he uninstalled ROn he stillg ets it.
We never got this before until we bought RON.
I will be able to check your answers tomorrow thanks for any help.

I believe what you are experiencing is caused by a virus, not Rise of Nations, exploitng a vulnerability in unpatched versions of Windows: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/tr...in/MS03-026.asp

I jump to thinking it was RON because of all the other problems with the game I found out later it is the virus thanks.
