Any chance you could make that patch available as a separate file rather than an executable? I'm more than a little nervous about running a random executable by some guy on a forum.

i have an error; crc32 error version missmatched or, already patched.

I have russian version of RoN, so I can't install new patches.

Didnt work for me either.
Do i need to do anything else besides the patch?
I noticed the rise.ini and rise2.ini, but changing them does nothing.
I have the english version.

I have the newest version of RON and every time I open it with the patched d3dgl.dll... My screen switches to 640X480 mode first it says Gathering Exeption Data and I give it time until its done then the windows xp popup thing says Rise of Nations has encountered a critical error and needs to close... CAN U PLZ HELP I NEED THE 800X600 I DONT HAVE THE CASH FOR A NEW CARD!!
