Sorry I've started ignoring 90% of the threads, because of all the spam. Vander actually had to PM me before I noticed this thread.

The main problem we will be having is drone problems. They will start becoming a problem when we go past 8 bases. New bases will require a scout to always escort them to new base sites as they will often require a police unit from the outset.
I'm holding off building the 9th base until we either get social pysch or the human genone. (within 10 years for either)
We are currently aiming for SPs, a minimum of 2 SPs. Consequently, there will be alot of crawlers being produced. My most difficult task will be optimsing the rush buy of crawlers to maximise the most of our ECs. We also get some or that money back from the stockpile after each rushbuy. Formers will need to concentrate on forests after the mines are finished so that crawlers will be able to draw the extra minerals and build more crawlers.
After the inital 2 SPs are finished, it is expected some further defences will be built. The first priority will be building infantry probes in our sea cities. At the same time our inner lands will be building more colony pods. The inner cities should build 1 normal probe every 3 bases for probe reinforcements if we are attacked.
This may be followed by facilities. Mainly recycling tanks, children's crech, rec rooms etc. If there are still some SPs available after the recycling tanks we may instead go for more SPs.
When flexibility is achieved, our first priority will be curiser probes. This is so we can inflitrate the other factions, also if we build a few extra of these probes we can steal a few of the university's techs.
Once we have at least one of the other factions infiltrated, we may decide to build an invasion force. However, it's far too early actually plan a invasion force until we know their diplomatic stance towards us.
In the field of foreign relations, things look bad. We really need to meet other factions. At the moment the university, pirates, and cycon are trading. Even if they're just furthering their own interests, the act of trading improves their relations between each other.
The long delays between EVERY turn run by the university, pirates and cycon are purposeful, I've seen their turn takers log on and log off within the 48 hours multiple times. I'm wondering if cycon are purposefully holding the turn to help give the pirates more time to negotiate with the university.

It would be good if someone did a base placement and borehole analysis. We want to keep minimal number of bases on our south and eastern shores. However we want one sea base on the south and east so that probe crusiers don't appear in land locked bases.
With respect to base placement we want base spacing of 3 and as many boreholes between them as possible. Remember that with boreholes adjacent squares must be same or higher increments of 1000m in level (1000m, 2000m, 3000m). Boreholes chew up the rivers and dry out the land unless they're placed near a western shore.

Yup, but we don't want to dry out farms until after we get all those condensors in place.
