The beautiful thing about the Xbox (and its derivatives) is drivers are loaded from the game disc -- IE, the developers can ship customized versions and ship specific ones they know for sure will work.

The ugly thing about Xbox and its inspirations is that the resolution sucks air out of an airlock and then rips out the space-time for fun.
