I live in an up-scale neighborhood a little ways from poorer neighborhood. You get to my place by going through that poor neighborhood, making a turn, and then heading up a tree-lined street to a T-shaped intersection. My house is right there at the T-shaped intersection...you see it coming up the street.
Recently, the people in one of the corner houses moved out and rented their house. One of the renters owns a huge, hideous, ugly, graffitti-covered truck which he parks right in front of my house, sometimes for days on end. Now when you leave the poor neighborhood and head up the tree-lined street, all you can see is that awful truck, sitting like a gigantic metallic cockroach right in front of my place. It gives one the impression that you're still in the poor neighborhood--which come to think of it, has nothing as bad as that truck.
Short of murder or arson, how can I get rid of that thing?

Some guy kept parking his truck in my parking spot, because it was convenient and because he was a jerk. So I took my crossbow and some steel-tipped bolts and plugged a few right through the driver's side door.
He never parked there again either.

This might well work. My best guess is this is not the type of guy who hurries down to the Dept. of Motor Vehicles to let them know he's moved. Plus the road leading up to my treeline street is sometimes used for stripping stolen cars. I think the vehicle has to be there for a minimum of three days for it to be considered abandoned but that shouldn't be a sticking point.
