Sorry, haven't loaded it... dumb me, it's just that I have AU 208 up and can't not keep playing.

All your moves sound excellent. I don;t really want to attack in the south yet, just keep the threat on so that they eat up their mobility, and are force to spread out their forces rather than concentrate entirely at Pamplona.

So, NM1 is fine as the center of the fortress (or chess board, as it were)... when we can though, we need to put threats in place at both ND's and GoW's captured cities. We need to control the pace of the game.

I have to run, you da man.

Would like to divert one pike from P 6 9 to P 9 9 to deny that handy mountain from them for staging.

I think we should withdraw the mi's from Barca army to join the pikes and cat at Barca 8. They are closer to the north there, and able to move to strike back at any wounded units after a battle at Barca 4.

Economy:
- Sufa laborer working the fur forest moves to a coast tile. (This change and the Typhoon one below will be reversed next turn to let Sufa finish its pike on schedule if WLTCD status changes don't mess my plans up.)
- Typhoon laborer working coast takes over the fur forest.
- One of the mountain laborers in Tempest moves down to an irrigated plains so we stop starving.
- Monsoon laborer working the iron tile moves to the other mined mountain. That lets Dissidentville's new laborer next turn land on the mined mountain. Monsoon changes the irrigated grassland it is working.
- Arashi switches a laborer from an incense hill to the irrigated grassland just vacated.
- Whirlwind switches a laborer from an incense desert to the incense hill just vacated.
- Sandstorm moves its laborers not on flood plains to irrigated desert tiles.
- Hurricane takes over all the plains and works a second mountain to bring its knight ETA down to two turns (albeit running a food deficit again for the moment).

- Workers at Cyclone and Bolderberg move to prepare to load on galleys.
- Worker at Sandstorm 6-9 starts mining.
- Worker at Blizzard 2 moves 9.
- Free worker at Arashi 8-9 moves 7-8 and starts mining.
- Workers at Santa Ana 8 move 4 and mine.
- Free worker at WoC 4 mines.

- Cyclone set to worker (2)
- Monsoon set to pike (5) how many galleys do we need? Honest question. We have 14 now, we only have 28 pike.
- Blizzard set to catapult (4). Could be a pike in 6.

Unit Movement and Actions:
- Northern galleys move out nw and sw to scout and prevent gow galleys from slipping into Port Isolation unseen. Advance 3, retreat 1 and we cannot be attacked by something out of the FoW that we do not know about.

Great going everyone, this turn maybe be the turn of change.

Questions for the future: Do we really have a significant production advantage, does time works for us or against us?

I'd say that in the near future, for us: we still have stuff to upgrade and ship, so we could wait, but long term (pehraps 7+ turns)- I don't think so, especially not with RP they way they are. I'd suggest we hold some more, land a few troops down south to take the coastal city, and then move with whatever we can commit to near P and from B to a pincer movement against GoW held towns- we can't allow them to remain at our flank while we push against ND towards west...

Got spare money?

I'd say 14 galleys is probably sufficient for our purposes right now, with an eye toward replacing any that are lost in naval battles with our enemies to maintain that force level....for the time being, however, I think I'd rather see those cities that are producing galleys turn their attention to more ground pounders....specifically pike and Med Inf....thoughts?

14 is not too many. With 4 going North to safe-guard against GoW, that leaves 10. With 6 used for offensive operations (5 to carry 10 troops, and one empty to fight) that leaves us with 4. That is a lift capacity of 4 units per turn from Stormia to Bob. We may want a bit more than that, especially if we cut the iron.

Suffering from ads?

Good point there, NYE.....that's slow goings at 4.....won't get them over very quickly.....need more...you are right!

double our carriage capacity would prolly be a good thing then.

Support Apolyton, buy Alpha Centauri

Although we prolly don't need to keep six empty to fight. If we deployed 1-2 of those as "scouts" to watch the direction that our enemy's fleets would be approaching, then we could put the rest to use hauling....
