Cochiba. Got spare money?

A collegue of mine returned from Cuba and he brought us as presents Cochiba cigars.

I thought I wouldn't smoke right away but save it for some special occasion or something (not monica related you perverts).

But I notice that the cigar becomes drier and drier. So my question is should I smoke it as soon as possible? Is there a danger that it will become so dry it will be almost destroyed? Or is there no problem with it being dry and I can preserve it?

Cohiba.
Cigars do need to preserve their humidity, they sell small higrometers and humidor boxes. wood ones are recommended so they breathe.
You can buy a small humidor box. (well, depending on the amount of cigars you got).

Got spare money?

Oh yeah sorry, I mispelled. It says :

Cohiba
La Habana, Cuba.

I don't think I can be bothered to buy one of these things for just one cigar

So you're saying that it is bad that the cigar goes drier and drier?

Can't I put it in the fridge or something

You can put it in the fridge but it'll absorb the smell of whatever you got there. But for ONE cigar?

Just smoke it.

Yes, I don't think I'd buy a humidifier just for one cigar.
So you're syaing that putting it in the fridge will be ok? I don't want to smoke it out of the blue. I want to do it when something worthwile happens I have a completely empty deep freezer compartment. Perhaps, I'll put it there. The first deep frozen Cohiba cigar in the world? Here it goes

I bought a box of them when I went to Panama and I thought they were good but not as good as promised. Certainly not worth the outragous price. For my money I'll take a box of top shelf Macenudos; Churchhill roll if you please.

my stepdad regularly buys cubans when in Latin America. One time coming back through Miami, an exile was the custom agents and begun telling him that the cigar was to be confiscated. My stepdad asked the guy to get his supervisor, and while the agent was away, took the label of, so when the guy and his supervisor came back, he agent could not prove it was cuban so they let the cigar in.
