So after 4 years I finally play Trolls game... What a joke I start the game 30 turns in after 3 hours I am leading him in pg beyond his ability to catch up to me.

Science ends at democracy. ok so be it. I have 101 sols and god knows how many troops. I see a battleship and I ask what is that? How do you get battleships and I can not. He says ruins.

Ok Troll fun waste of time....

Ok Troll if You need to play your watered down, take the ruins to win the game mutation. As I said 4 years ago play a real game it's called CTP...

No wonder you have a hard time beating Paul and the likes. If you rely on terrain and ruins to win, well it explains a lot...

Come on man what was that I was 30 turns? behind you took over pg and the rest, growth for an example then you pull this.....

Good game I bet a buck you would last but 60 turns in a normal game with me.....

On that note I'd love to show you how I did what I did so as you could beat me down the pipe.

Now speaking of which I would love anyone here to tell me that SKILL alone wins games here... I am sure we all will believe you.

You dont have all these troops you have 54 cities and like 6 or 9 settlers to build

I played a renaisance era only game and I play that a lot..doenst mean watered down means a varying games style.

maybe he didnt want to play you for 4 years Blackice, cause you whine like a 2 year old. So hes crap, its his own god given right to be crap for ever if he chooses too. BS arent that scary if you are milies ahead on ranking. If you had 101 sols you would have won easily even if he had found ROBOTICS, but you were probably exagerating the number of sol's you had. SO HE FOUND IT, all you have to do is STEAL it or caputre a few cities and you will have it to. Id be surprised if he wants to play you again after you insulted him

As much as we all love ctp, I think there is such a thing as taking any game, including this one, too seriously.

Well..this is a game, my personal favorite and yes I am a big pile of dookey-doo!!

BUT..I own the land this pile of dookey-doo lays on.

I believe the whole matter boils down to this:

I suck and well, so be it.

BUT..I still have the option of playing this game the way I WANT TO

Anyone can simply type the apostrophe key and chat in a game..in fact..most online games I play I name them :

PRESS ' IN GAME 2 CHAT-RESTART

But..I found the advance STEEL..not a battleship in the ruins..and I am indeed learning more each day..BUT..I just prefer these settings..

You know..some folks like playing full court 5 on 5 basketball...

some folks enjoy playing half-court 3 on 3

still others prefer a 8 man game of 21....

all basketball..all have their value of entertainment worth and yes..usually the same player that rules the open court will rule the "old-mans game" of 21

But seriously..I am not looking any trouble..I didnt cheat and didnt falselt represent myself, I simply setup a game style I enjoy
Look I work hard all day and enjoy this game...

Please, lets just agree that some styles are acceptable..and if we cant then just go play your own style with someone whom wants to.

For the record:

Ah, I see. I'm surprised that the code allows this when the ages are restricted. However, it does introduce an interesting element to the game, and the unreachable tech is then stealable or lootable or even tradeable.

Simply boils down to luck IMHO I perfer skill to luck any day, more of a challenge.

You win on luck seems to take the bragging rights and the punch out of it.

I mean "I won on luck of the draw" Or "I kick thier butt"

I prefer "I kicked thier butt."

Or "I lost because they got lucky is all" Or "I lost because I got my butt kicked"

I prefer I got my butt kicked.

Style of game does not matter elliments of the game do, most important making sure your opponent knows the rules of the game.

Well all in all Troll, I can say I finally played your style of game... Can you say the same?

Why or how Paul comes in calling you crap is beyond me that is simply rude of course we know Paul to be just that. I'll assume he had a bad day, maybe an important date and he bought the wrong sized condoms, small instead of extra small? Who knows mind you fair play is a concept he has a hard time understanding....Dare we say "bugs" Paul....That pretty much sums it up right there.

IMHO your not crap, it is your game style that limits your abilities is all. That is the main reason I have refused your games for so long. Nothing to learn by it and why I have tried to encourage you to play the common way. I understand you like to lay the game, I am sure like anyone else you would like to say "I won" too...At least once in a while... I would sure like to show you how to do that if I can.

As much as it could be a fun game provided you know all the rules before you start the game...Remember informing the opposing player of all the rules is the way to go...Anything shy of that is not considered fair play...

As with my first example we play crazy eights and half way through the game the opponent states no it is crazy threes....

Same applies with this game, inform your opponents of the rules before you start. This is and will be my only problem with our game. You have played this game style for how many years and simple forgot to mention that aspect of the game? Ok I'll buy that we are long in the tooth...

Well..me..I am one of oldest (and yes longest playing Call To Power Participants) from the old days..from even the beginning and me and Pete go back a ways and we like messing with one another, generally having fun and yes sometimes we see each others shadows and BOOO!!!

WE scream at each other then we go back to business..

Pete, for a Canadian, is actually a pretty neat person or I should say from what i know from his thoughts here at Apolyton that he posts seems to be a decent individual, but all in all I gotta say hes otay

Now that being said, I am ready to get me whooping underway...and will get whooped by the best and maybe in 25 games be fortunate to win 1..but probably not..
