Sorry TCO, Mr. B's is gone... My wife was a waitress there when I met her, and it pained me to see it close. Yet, it is now a very fancy restaurant (can't remember what it is called) that use to be upstairs from Mr. B's, take her to diner there and then hit up the bars.

There is a good one right down from where Mr. B's use to be called Sophie's, it is part of a Thai restaurant, but it is a calm little watering hole. Also, Cantina is fun with their wall of beer taps... The Paragon, which is now called Frogger's(?), due to some kid OD-ing there, is nice and has no cover. For good music, some pool, and a genuine crowd The G Street Pub is always fun... Stay away from The Grad....

Davis has few bars, which is bad in that there is no where to get piss drunk in private, but good since everyone hangs out at them...

I decided on this course of action a while ago. The trouble is that my will-power is weakening. I don't know how long I can hold off, so I'm trying to figure out how to limit the fallout.
