	Here Is A Picture Of My Home Support Apolyton, buy GURPS/ Alpha Centauri

From a few thousand feet up. Ran across this site today and looked up where I grew up. I live in a city now. Lights everywhere and lots of noise. But when I was growing up my backyard included hundreds of acres of woods and wide open spaces. Can you look up your home and show us?

ack! that thing is horribly out of date. It shows the northeast corner as being undeveloped. That is not right.

If you go to mapquest.com and click on aerial photo you can get another one.

This one is not up to date either! My city just grows very, very fast.

You can actually see the house that is to the right from mine. Now there is another house just across the road. My best friend lived up the road about two miles. It was great growing up there as a kid but when I got older, the small town atmosphere wore a little thin.

As you can see, my house has plenty of friends around it...

And a highway just a block north... and another highway about half a mile east, and another highway about a mile south...





EDIT: My house is the one on the far upper left sort of cut off by the edge of the picture.

Well, I found the map and it's just as nondescript and anonymous as the rest of yours.

I'm surprised that the town is still standing, actually. Most of the big industry (Cooper, Tupperware) packed up and left the state, and most of the artistic and intellectual talents (Alinestra Covelia) left the country not long thereafter.

Funny, the picture is actually an excellent closeup of my street. Problem is, they've put the little red "thumb tac" in the wrong spot entirely.
