Perhaps the infantrydivision I have been assigned to could be named Captain Cian Infantry. I am not a Lord anymore, therefore I could perhaps get the Captain status?

We are not Lords anymore, and if I understood Togas correctly, we should be happy to be living.

Wait until the next battle where our units have a chance to be promoted; then you will be promoted too.

Knight, Knight, Pike Respectively. We have very little need for Galleys compare to other units.

Togas's proclomation did make me laugh, no really, it did; see here: I told you I did, but I had to show you.

Don't forget to remind GS (nye) that we need to get NM back this turn. Also, we may want to move a few pikes and MI's towards Toledo to ready ourselves to take that back as well. It can't be producing very good for GS. WE need to have it back. They can position what defenders they have inside of it right now just outside of it once we get there.

In chat with Togas and NYE the other night, I suggested that it might be wise (at least for now) for us to build the slower, cheaper units while GS brings in the Knights.

This is because of our devasted economy and production. Also, once we start retaking cities, we'll need the additional defenders.

The idea is that we would slow march on cities to absorb any pre-emptive strikes, and then the GS Knights attack from the rear.

The galley was just a thought - to carry new forces built by other cities to retake our southern coastal cities, or even to go up the ND coast. We'd have to start on the navy now if we want those options.

Pikes sound like an excellent idea - many Spaniards may have lost the will to charge the enemy, but every man will stand straight and tall to defend Spain from the raping Glory and ND armies. When our defensive victories reassure us that the Holy spirit is with us, then we may make plans to take the fight to the infidels' own distrubed lands, and restore the rule of God and nature to their demonic plains.

All the blessed must unite their efforts to oppose the deceptive forces of darkness - GS' strengths lie in their swift steeds and mighty Paladins, trained well in the task of exorcising demons from the mortal plane through their perfected method of evisceration. Some shots about the situation:











The mil advisor says we are weak to both ND and GoW and the only units we see are the 9 ansars (4/4) 2 medieval infantry (3/3) and (4/4) and 6 pikes (1 (3/3) 4 (4/4) 1 (5/5)

That mountain represents a bonus too high for our forces, my humble sugestions is to wait. And the city conquered by GoW (alamo) could be reached by knights, but I am not sure how many knights would be needed, so it's better not to run out of knights in the middle of the fight.

Barcelona and Madrid are well protected by GS forces

No horses, so we can only do pikes, catapults and med. infantry. In any case none of them will be finished for the next turn so there is no hurry to decide about that yet.

I have just returned and will be home the rest of the evening. There isn't much for us to do this turn, however, I invite everyone with suggestions, questions, and so forth to post them here.

Until we have coordinated a plan for attacking ND/GoW there is not much to do except build roads where we need them. Like the one 2-1 from Toledo. I think it would also be a good idea to build a road an auxilary road between NM and Pamplona so that both GS and RP may pass between.

We are now at 7gpt per turn. We can support our current army and then some.

ND now has 9 Ansars, 6 pikes, 2 inf in their stack.

No GoW units in Merida.

Our Pike on Iron Moutain is dead.
