The reason it kicked off in Faleraki was a documentary series they make 2 or 3 years ago abouit a summer at the resort. It portrayed it as a place you could go wild, kids saw the show and then booked to go. When word gets out about the clampdown the people who want that sort of holiday will just go somewhere else with their money.

And don't forget places like Faleraki and Rhodes have deliberatly moved themselves down market over the last 10 years or so to attract these type of people.

rhodes remains a family island like corfu. Its places like faliraki and cavos that started to get all the brit fairies, for some reason.

however this cant go on, nomatter what greedy both greek bar owners and brit organizers think.
