Actually it started as a three player but the Americans beat up on the Greeks so they had to leave. I was on a tiny island so thought oh well i'll just build some cities, build the lighthouse, build an army and see how much damage I could do. Here I am on the sunny American coast. Hi mum.

At this time I thought I was pretty clever, but he snuck behind me on the other side of the world and destroyed one of my cities. Killed lots of my naval units and made a nuisance of himself so.

The next turn I took New York and he conceded. Hurray. I thought he would have conceded much earlier. Especially when i destroyed San Fran which had Sun Tzus. It was an excellent duel that could have gone either way. I was just lucky I had the initiative from the start otherwise I would have been in trouble.

This has to be 2x production, right? Otherwise, how do you support all those triremes early in the game?

Tlaxcala is my capital in this game. Normally its Tenochtitlan. I think we played a short game where i built a couple of cities before this game hence the different capital name.
