	My Promise to Spain Increase Your PM Length

I am an old man, who has had the sadness to live through such a distressing time in our history. Not only to see our nation captured but to have to fight against my own brothers to hold onto this place of leadership. I fear that upon my passage, I will leave behind nothing of hope or promise for my beloved people.

So I give you now the only thing that I can give, other than my life of service and my own blood in your defense:

I have called my two sons to my room, and spoken to them in the presence of the Cardinal of Pamplona, my top advisors, and their mother (my dearest wife Penelope who's heart breaks for her Father).

Josephus Togas and Edwardo Togas, both are now of age. Josephus is several years older.

I swore on their blood and the blood of my father that Spain shall never surrender, and shall never stop fighting until all of Spain is returned to its people, and until the hated invaders and punished seven times the misery and pain that we have endured. I swore and I continue to swear that there shall be no peace with these animals, and that we shall spare none of them until our hatred and our righteous vengence has been fullfilled.

Then I made my sons swear the same oath before me, their mother, and the man of god. I made them kneel down and swear it to me again. Then I made them promise to make their sons do the same. Our bloodline, our family, makes this promise to Spain. We shall not surrender, and we shall not relent. We shall not tire in our defense of Spain, and we shall stop at nothing until Spain -- all of Spain -- is free again.

So help me god. So help my sons. Should I die, the promise to you shall not end. It never ends. If I can give you nothing else, let this promise suffice. Let our fight for freedom never end!

I need to make something clear to the team.

I have changed my position on how we should play this game. No longer are we playing to win, since "winning" is effectively out of the question.

From here on out, we shall do what is just -- honor our friends and punish our enemies.

We shall not distrust or attempt to manipulate GS.
We shall not make deals with ND or GoW that are "in our best interest."

We shall do whatever is in our power to make our attackers pay dearly for the destruction they have wraught upon us.

We will never give up. We will never surrender. We will never again live in peace until EVERY plague of a GoW city is in rubble, or safely in the posession of our allies.

ND as well must be destroyed unless they decide to later turn on the hated Warmongers. Then, and only then, shall we spare them from total destruction.

This goal may take us until the end of the game, but it will be worth it.

War weariness, if nothing else, will pull down our attackers.

And should Legoland build the UN later in the game, we need to ensure that GoW and ND are destroyed, so that they cannot vote against GS for final victory.

Should Legoland challange our allies for the end-of-game win, we will do our part to reward those who have given so much to free us, and punish those who have turned their backs on us in our time of need.

So help me God.

Look like very reasonable objectives to me.

The less we can do regarding the ND and GoW attack upon us is to turn it into an unproductive move. Something that no doubt makes impossible for us to win, but also for them. We have to make sure that they regreet having done what they have done. And of course, if we have the chance it would be good to make Legoland pay for betraying us. No by attacking us, but by ignoring what was supposed to be our "most favoured nation" status.

And regarding GS... They deserve that we fully support them and not try to betray them in any way.

Those are perfectly reasonable guidelines to lay down, given the circumstances. We can still do plenty of creative diplomacy with Legoland (among others) even with what you've laid down as our ULTIMATE goals.

Afterall, relations with Legoland are still relatively decent, or so I have been lead to believe. They have not lifted a finger to save us and for this we are siding with Gathering Storm rather than them, but I'm sure we can still work with them for now (and even milk them if possible) while ultimately preparing to help Gathering Storm defeat them likely through some means of a builder-style victory (since an invasion of Legos would be extremely hard).

FYI: I may be without internet access for a few days when moving to my new apartment tomorrow (finally!!!). Just so everyone knows...

I say we lead the invasion of Legoland to weaken them, after of course the swine of GoW and ND have been delt with. Heck, if we are not trying to win, then lets have fun. Research marines ASAP and send tehm over with our conquistadors.... oh the fun we will have. Also, we still have our GA comming.

I look forward to GoW complaining that we are playing dishonorably when we vote against them in the UN for some tiny little incident that we of course were the cause of centuries earlier.

This time I have to agree. Unless someone better informed takes me out of my error, Legoland has played very unfairly in the diplomatic negotiations. And we still are waiting for that "most favoured nation" status...

But of course this is very very far. We have to get rid of GoW and ND before...
