I would like to once again nominate atawa for President (for the third time maybe atawa/W4E/DL? )

I would also like to submit my own name for Foreign Minister (as I hope with Embassies this position will have a little more meaning).

As asked by atawa (no "A" ), Zedd why don't you run for office?

Perhaps War4ever will put his name up this month? I note no one has as of yet put there name up or minister of War.....would this be a suitable position for someone with a name like w4e? I think so.

Time is running out on nominations however, so I hope people step up to the plate soon!

We definately do need a minister of war and city planner. We need to get to fundi without caravans while fighting on two fronts. Our crusaders are no longer a match for the American defense. So we have our work cut out for us

As a "simple" citizen , you are among the best qualified to be President, which I am sure you will again be one day. But I hope that there are more nominations to come, though time is quickly running out .

Experience is not everything. It is also good to have different citizens serving as Presidents and Ministers for fresh approaches and ways of running the government. I look forward with some interest to see how the next administration will present new ideas into the game.

My view is that the more of us are experienced in government, the larger the pool of qualified leaders becomes, and the better all of us will understand the demands and difficulties (and benefits) of participating in government.

I would gladly run for office now that I am back in the forum, however RL has decided that my new son will be born within the next couple of days so I will be very busy takeing care of Mom and Jr for the next few weeks.

Rest assured, i will still make a point to post votes and responses. Wouldn't want to deprive everyone of my incessant ranting.

@ Cavebear, maybe beter do it the other way around.
I'll give Cityplanner a try(one has to try everything at least once) And you can go for a second run as Military advisor.
That is, if you don't mind ofcourse to be our millitary advisor for another month?

Hopefully Hydey can post elections soon, but it's not too late, anyone interested in running...would be good to see two people running for each position.

I agree, if Hydey sees this thread before they post, he should go ahead and post elections (with one candidate per election ) but if anyone is online before that, I would hope they don't take into account Hydey's 3 day time limit, as more candidates is a good thing I think, deadline or not (though as a start to a term, not making deadlines is not encouraging )

Great to see Cavebear run for Minister of War again and shade for City Planner

I would like to see some contested elections (Including mine) but we need to get things moving.

Another thing is our VP has been missing for over 2.5 days. Does our president post elections tomorrow in the absence of the VP or do we skip it all together due to a lack of candidates?

I wish we had more active Apolytonians
