Well, I tend to go to sleep at around 3 in the afternoon here, since it's late in Nebraska. Then I wake up at about 7 PM, stay up until one or two and then sleep until I have to get up for work at 7 AM.

That's pathetic...

Luckily, I haven't had to work full days yet since we've been on summer vactation. School starts back up on Monday, however, so we'll see how it goes. I'll probably be dragging in the afternoons for a while, but I'll just have to stick it out.

I've been getting to sleep around 2 or 3am for the past week. Which is a problem, because I have to get up at 5am for an 8-hour shift both days of the weekend. I'm going to be tired.

Upon closer inspection, Osaka is 10,074 km from Omaha and has a time difference of 14 hours. However, Osaka is 9,326 km from Stuttgart, but only 7 hours. Doesn't that seem wrong to anyone else? I wonder what explains the large disparity?

Well, part of the reason I've tracked down so far is that all of Western and Central Europe insist on being on Greenwich Mean Time, even though it should really be divided into two or more time zones. I don't know who's responsible for that silliness, but I think blaming the French would be the first correct step on the road to an answer.

Can't sleep tonight...

I have to travel and pack tomorrow for going back to school. I'm just a little bit wired thinking about all that I need to do.

Usually, I sleep from 12:30-8:30, any less, and I start to get rather short tempered. You don't want to see me short-tempered.
