Notes from the Save:

GS offered Toledo, but didn't accept. Probably feeling us out.

Toledo is EMPTY (probably just in case) with mil units around it, including 1 ND pikeman. He is right next to the city, and with him there we cannot accept Toledo this turn. We can move our new Madrid Pike south of Toledo and occupy the city next turn.

Valencia has been destroyed, most likely by GoW who could not hold the city after GS dropped troops in the south.

1 more Ansar in the ND stack to the west of Pamplona.

GS *did* offer us Toledo and WM. However, with a ND pikeman next to the city, we cannot risk that GS's attack on that pikeman might fail, and ND could then take the empty Toledo.

I offer WM to GS for WM and Toledo. Did not accept. We will accept the city next turn.

GoW has raized Valencia in the face of the GS marine force that landed there. NYE informed me that GoW had at least 1 Rider in the city.

ND stack is up to 11 Ansars, 6 pikes, 2 inf.

Information to tell GS:
They need to defend Toledo for 1 more turn.

We need to build additional roads into Pamplona. We need to build either (or both) of these roads:
Pamplona 9-9 -- they have a pike on this tile. We need them to probably move their own worker there and build the road.

Pamplona 6 & 6-6 (gold mountain road) -- this will take longer but is not a bad route. Gives us 2 roads all the way to Pamplona that are difficult to cut.

We will have a Pike in Toledo next turn, so they can gift us that city next turn.

In 2 turns we need an open road to Pamplona to move our new pike in. Our first Pike out of Madrid is moving to Toledo.

What a shame. Valencia was such a nice city, too. I had some friends there. Well, acquaintances, really. Terrible shame.

I long for a chance to return to the city of my birth. Let us slay these Arab dogs.
