Beware of sensors outside of bases themselves. Attacking forces occupying that sensor square get the defensive bonus when you counter-attack them.

(That's why the AI is pretty good at putting bunkers with sensors then positioning a trooper there. With good armor and AAA he's almost unbeatable, esp if a probe is bunkered down with him to avoid mind contol - which the AI doesn't do)

Well maybe that sensor could be placed on the rocky square between the two bases and it could become a sensor bunker combination. However, it is possible that we won't have to worry about a defensive battle that far into our terriority.

In the meantime I moved the sunny mesa base. That way each of those old bases have an overlapping sensor from another base.

Got spare money?

Did you work out the plans for relocating the bases already? I was thinking of working that out today...

Well that's just an idea. What do you think?

We also have to decide what we're going to do with the bit of land to our north. We're definiately going to be raising that land to close off the sea.

Put an end to popups!

I think its all very nice.

The reloctaion of the Sunny Mesa bases, is also great, as it makes them fit better with the overall plan.

Land Raising and further adjustment to base plans.

First the indicated squares should be raised.

This results in the below, and bases have been placed accordingly.
