I don't know about the IDF but I know you will make more money in the US Army plus your bill will be good in any NATO country while the IDF college paymentd will only be good in Isreal as far I know.

REMF? I went to Psyops which is a Special Opporations forces school . There were plenty of hot chicks plus jump school , and many went to DLI in monterrey. they offered me Persian Farsi but I wasn't interested in learning Iranian. I wanted Spanish, German or Russian but they didn't need those languages so I didn't see the reason to spend nearly 2 years in school to learn a language I didn't care about.

Depends on your job and where you serve. If you're in the former Yugoslavia or Iraq then you get tax free status and your take home is mucvh larger. If you server in German, Italy, Britain, Japan, or Korea (not to meantion in the US) then you have to pay taxes but you get over seas pay and various other pays. If you get jump status, multilanguage, or any of a dozen other things thing you get more pay. If you have college credits then you get more pay. It's also a larger force so you get promoted faster then in just about any other Army.

More slots equals mnore positions to get promoted into.
