	Where can I find a copy of the Torah/Peerkay Avote/ Christian bible online? Support Apolyton, buy Call to Power 2

I need all 3 for a class I just started, all I can find in google are sites trying to SELL me them, or snipets-not the actual text of either of the 3.

Anyone who can find them has saved me quite a bit of $$$ and will get a special smiley from me as thanks!

torah online is pretty common i think - try virtual Jerusalem, and check out the links, or Shamash. (btw, if you dont know hebrew, torah is just the first 5 books of the bible) Not sure about Pirke Avot - i have two copies with commentaries at home, and most orthodox or conservative prayerbooks come with a complete text in the back. Try VJ and other Jewish metasites. Christian bibles have to be VERY available on line ISTR blueletter bible, or something like that, with english, Hebrew and Greek texts.

If you dont know where else to start try Yahoo Judaism, its not bad. Or try Agudas Achim of Alexandria - ISTR many links there.

And if you have questions about Pirke Avot, feel free to come here - its a fascinating text, Id love to discuss it.

You wont find Pirke Avot there. I doubt you'll find a Hebrew text of the Torah, or any translation done under Jewish auspices. Im not sure about the Christian bible translation.

If you want a printed version, just go up to a Christian church and ask for a bible. They will be happy to provide you with one.

Does it matter if the bible includes the apocrypha?

You will find quite a few translations here, not just NIV.

There are also links to other sites for apocrypha, etc.
