I've been gone for months from here forcefully, I had to learn a lesson the hard way. For years I've adamently opposed the whole existence of the moderation system in these forums as a sqeulching of free speech and oppression.
Well being deprived of having a home here, I made my way to other places and what I found was appalling.
I looked for and found the alternative to Apolyton... anarchy, and complete lack of moderation. And let me tell you the viciousness of the people I dealt with, their ammoral and often immoral behavior would blow away most of you away.
I visted one place, which by my interests made me try to consider it a new home... a gaming forum also....... and it has totally deteriorated into a hub for sick people. There is discussion of sexually mutilating children, pornography, beastiality, people threating one another, and the mods don't do **** about it. Furthermore they actively discuss pirating games. Most of these things are illegal under federal laws such as Obscenity, a pornography consent laws, copyright laws. as well as international and federal laws regarding child pornography. But with no mods, it is a free for all, the sickos can say what they want, and humiliate people at their whim.
I was under the impression that a lot of you were asses, well seeing the kind of people at some of the other forums, I will admit that you are not asses, they however are uberasses.
I mean it is one thing to be a jerk in a civil manner, but to be an ass in a savage uncivilized way is intolerable, and dangerous. These people I speak of threaten other people, and detail suicide plans for them, and try to estinguish any hope that would keep them living.
So I think I owe all of you, mostly Ming an apology (almost typed Apolyton... old habits die hard), and admit that my stubborn head now sees what I should have seen long ago.
There are of course a few things I will still continue to disagree with, but I won't take my disagreements into insubordination from now on.
You are a friendly folk, I'm sorry I haven't been truely worthy enough to understand that.

How are your grades? UNC-Asheville is a relatively small place IIRC, and small places might not be good for people like yourself- larger places will have more people; if only 1/1000 people will like you, then at a school with 4000 you will have will 4 friends, at a school of 20,000 you will have 20 friends. Perhaps you could transfer to Chapel Hill or something?
