Tiny but Deadly PBEM Support Apolyton, buy Civilization: The Boardgame

I'm up for starting a new game on a Tiny map so we can hopefully contact other civs quickly and have some early diplomacy.

Here are the conditions:

Players: 5
World Size: Tiny
Barbarian Activity: Raging
Land Mass: Pangea
Water Coverage: 60%
Climate: Arid
Temperature: Cool
Age: 3 Billion
Difficulty: Deity

Mass Regicide

1. SirOsis (Arabia) - sirosis@hotmail.com
2. Wittlich (Aztecs) - wittlich at sbcglobal dot net
3. kermit_the_frog (Vikings) - wrtc_f555 at hotmail dot com
4. Anatolia (English) - euphrates at kornet dot net
5. Paddy the Scot (Chinese) - contact sirosis or paddy

To mix it up even more the civs will be random and your start position is final. I realize this might cause some imbalances but I hope that your diplomatic skills will save your butt. I would also like to shoot for a turn a day at least. With 5 players it shouldn't be too bad.

If interested you know where to post.

Okay, I'm in.
Do we have to have random civs? I can only keep games straight by playing a different civ in each game
Tiny map with a large land mass sounds good.

I would prefer to keep random unless everyone wants to choose a civ. No accel production.

I've also been thinking about something a little different. How about Regicide? I've never played that way before. People up for it?

Regicide sounds okay although people may get eliminated quite quickly that way.
If we're going to have random civs then give me a different name than Anatolia when you set up the game. 'TinyAnatolia' would remind me of what game the file belongs to.

Ok. That's 2. Need 2 more. We can discuss the Regicide option when we get 2 more.

Surely there are those that have room for yet another PBEM.

Sounds interesting...and since the two other PBEM games I'm currently in are, well, not moving very fast at all...Count me in as the 3rd Player.

Excellent! One more and we're rolling. What do people think about the regicide option? How about mass regicide?

Never played either so how many kings with mass regicide?

Just checked it out. You get 7 kings with mass regicide. Some quick exploration with that setup since kings can move 2.

Mass regiicide sounds okay or the capture the princess option.

In the beginning it would be king v. king if you met exploring. That would be very interesting.

I was just checking that out. Tiny map with 31 civs.

The age of the planet will slow down the jaguar warrior due to more hills and mountains. If you do get the Aztecs gimme the Greeks.

5 on a tiny map? What do you think. I'm ok with it.

How about mass regicide, 5 players, random civs?

Post your emails or PM them to me and I'll get it setup.

Let the games begin.

Here are a list of the players and civs:

1. SirOsis (Arabia) - sirosis@hotmail.com
2. Wittlich (Aztecs) - wittlich at sbcglobal dot net
3. kermit_the_frog (Vikings)
4. Anatolia (English) - euphrates at kornet dot net
5. Paddy the Scot (Chinese)

I'll post the turn for Wittlich here until we get the emails sorted. Looks like the Aztecs are in the game. No Greeks though. Anatolia and the English. Hmm....

Turn set to Kermit. I already have his email address.

Game should be interesting since I've never played regicide (mass or otherwise) before. But I do have my Jaguar Warriors...
