I had a green iguana named Vercingetorix, but he turned out to be a she, and she died of a calcified, unpassed egg.

She had the coolest habit of sitting on my sister's bulldog. She'd creep up on it while he was sleeping. He wasn't allowed to bark at her, so sometimes he'd walk up to my sister with the iguana on his back and just stare at her, like "Please get this off me."

I have never seen or come into contact with a cockroach in real life.

I don't know why that is, but I hope to maintain the status quo.

Geckos are cute. The local state university has a BIG pet iguana named Nico in the biology department. He has very beautiful emerald-green and shiny black scales, and those distinctive spines on his back found in most iguanas. He's really cool.

I don't have a place for me to live, so a pet is out of the question. I like to think that I keep all my pets happily housed in the Bronx Zoo, and I can go and pay to visit them any time I want.
