We are fixing Afghanistan. It needed to be occupied by the UN years ago when the Taliban first started violating fundamental human rights.

Well, now that you think about it:

SADDAM: I have no weapons of mass destruction.
BUSH: He has weapons of mass destruction!!!

One was telling the lie, and it wasn't Saddam So therefore Saddam is more trustworthy than bush. Though thats not hard to be.

Got spare money?

We went to war, not because of a missile on the launcher, but because of a systemic failure of Saddam to act peacefully. Exemplified by his secret weapons programs, kicking inspectors out, etc.

I don't recall one war Iraq had other than with the US in the last ten years.

And no, thats not the reason. Condie said it was for the Iraqi people. Though Rummy said it was about WoMD....Who cares what he thinks?

Indeed, it was a lovely place. Did you ever catch wind of that article of a journalist's pass by a prison for orphans of Saddam's (and therefore "the peoples") enemies?

Snuggled firmly in Bagdhad as a reminder to other potential enemies, the smell in itself was enough to make journalists vomit. Kind of like a KFC advertising it's greasy scent throughout the air to draw customers - only using children in their own filth to intimidate

...but hey, that's just propoganda. Of course a country who would pull something as bat**** and backwards as this (even this to its own people) can still be good

Perhaps a naive little rich Canadian boy, agreed?

I know this is hard for a civ-playing pea-brain to understand, but we went to war for more important reasons than a specific jug of chemicals.

0/10. That was horrible for two reasons: 1. It wasn't even a valid insult. 2. It doesn't apply to me.

And your right, we did. Unless we find a jug full of chemicals. Then we went to war to save the world from Saddams WoMD

Face it. Republicans have been changing their story sooo much ever since we occupied Iraq.

Otherwise, it was (fill in here)

A: For the Iraqi people!
B: To save Iraqs neighbors.
C: To destroy a terrorist haven. (Invalid.)
D: To rid Saddam of WoMD. (Invalid.)

Maybe if the Bushmen would wake up and realize they aren't licenced to rule the world, admit that they made a mess in Iraq, and hand over command to somebody other than Haliburton , other countries would be willing to put their men at risk.

Can't debate the facts, so instead you resort to personal attacks

This debate was fun TCO, mainly beause you didn't really try to defend your position

Actually, this one has been shot down as well, since our invasion proved that Iraq wouldn't have had the military might to successfully attack a paper bag.

While that may be true, in the American peoples eyes its still a valid excuse for war.

However, C and D aren't because they've been completly disproven. Any attempt to back it up results in a political loss.
