Should we colonise Mars, or tidy up our own home? Support Apolyton, buy Civilization: The Boardgame

Various fictions et al suggest that in +- 100 years people will begin to seriously colonise Mars as Earth becomes more and more inhospitible.

So, the question is, should we escape to another planet, and build "Earth2" there, or should we "tidy up" our own house before we destroy another?

Expansion has always been the cure to the problems of overcrowding...problem is we have filled up this planet. When we start to see mass exodus to another one, then this one will fare fine.

There's two tv stations largely dedicated to the broadcast of professional Starcraft matches (with some Warcraft III, Age of Empires and Counterstrike games thrown in) here complete with players who have suits with the names of their sponsors on them, hyperactive announcers and hundred of cheering teenage girls in the audience.

Yup, heard of that a while ago. You see most kids play games in cyber cafes so that they're parents can tell them to stop playing and study. So they guy who just killed your elf is probably sitting across the room and deserves a good pounding...
