Some preliminary ads from my fashion shoot for Marc Jacobs Clothing: Inflate your Upload Space

hello again everyone!!!!

so, recently i had a shoot for some magazine ads for the fashion designer marc jacobs (marcjacobs.com) he's very big right now and if you haven't seen his clothes and are into fashion, you should realy check them out. the shoot was a month or so ago and this weekend the agency e-mailed me some of the shots they were thinking of using... everything is kind of up in the air right now and i'm not sure which magazines/regions these might turn up in. i'm pretty sure it will be limited to the UK or Europe... but possibly America if things go well ...so be on the lookout!

Tired of ads?

the fashion scene as a whole right now is very ambgiuous in regards to sexuality... even in abercrombie and fitch ads there is some boy on boy action... but i don't think the idea was necessarily for us to be a couple.

i like the first pic a lot better too. the agency mentioned that they would most likely use the first one if anything at all.

Full PM-box? Change here!

So is this something you set out to do, or is it something that just sort of happened?

Put an end to popups!

I have trouble finding a job in Iowa, and he gets to be a model in Boston...

Funny how things turn out in life.

A&F specifically marketed towards gay people when it was first started, and it's still very popular among gay people (hence why so many of their adds are blatantly homoerotic). The main idea was that gay people were hip and leaders of fashion ( ), so if they targeted them soon many more people would wear it...

And that first pic is great.

thanks!

yeah, the A&F phenomenon is so interesting given the variety of people that wear it. everyone from butch lesbians to flamboyant gay guys and then the toughest jocks you'll ever see.
go figure.
