lol, dont think theres much at all to learn from the AI... apart from how to get whiped out! well ill try my best to keep up... havent played in a while to be honest,. also are we using any patch mod, or just straight out of the box ver.???

I sent Dan Quick an E-Mail with the above. Is it true that the team has been disbanded and, for some time, there won't be any future Civilizations ?
He also wrote that there could be a fan-driven, who'll continue the work. True ?
Maybe I could expose my ideas to him ? 'Cause I've got somethin' more
In little words, a combination of Civilization & Alpha Centauri would be the best sci-fi idea for a Civilization game.

Glen you need the new servers.dat file, ive attached it just unzip it and replace the old one in your ...Call To Power 2\ctp2_program\ctp folder.

Actually I searched the whole folder and it didn't exist at all, so placed it into ctp2_program\ctp

The full url doesnt work anyway when you try it, its http://nl.alink.gamepoint.net/ and always gives "connection refused" the other server that doesnt work for ctp2 is http://games.igateway.net/

I can ping/tracert it perfectly fine.......

If you cant even get the servers screen up then i dont know. Are you sure you overwrote the old servers.dat file right? or sure its in the right folder? other than that i dont know.

If there wasnt a servers.dat file there when you moved the new one i attached, then delete the server.dat, then go into ctp2 and do the mp thing let it look for servers and create a new (bad) servers.dat file, exit ctp2 delete the old file and put the new one in.
