Morgan State, a historically black university, was the site of the debate co-sponsored by the Congressional Black Caucus and the Fox News Channel. "This is a historic occasion -- the first time that the CBC has hosted a debate at an HBCU," candidate Al Sharpton said after one interruption. "Will you respect our time the way we respected yours?" "Do they do that to Republicans?" asked former Illinois Sen. Carol Moseley Braun.

Some LaRouche supporters were handing out fliers the other day on my route to the subway. I stopped at the corner to wait for the light, and the guy comes up to me ranting about LaRouche and trying to hand me a flier, saying "vote for the only honest candidate!"

I just looked at him and said, "you mean the only one who is a convicted felon?"

He walked away from me.

they constantly stand outside post offices and harass people... i ticked one off when i started a short little protest of them which was me standing there and as he tried to talk to passerbys, i'd say don't talk to that crazy un-american communist... i dont know if they were more disturbed by him or me but they left...

My favorite LaRouchie story:

In the 80s, they'd often hang around airports wearing large signs around their necks, generally promoting nuclear power but also dissing liberals icons. Apparently, one of them was in the Miami airport, handing out pamphlets and wearing a sign that read, "Send Jane Fonda to Iran in Ted Kennedy's Car." Pretty funny -- until a plane lands, and off comes...Peter Fonda. Fonda walks up to the guy and asks "Do you know who I am?" The LaRouchie says "no," so Fonda grabs his sign, yanks it off his neck, and beat him over the head the LaRouchie's on the ground in a fetal position and Fonda's being restrained by airport security.

Peter Fonda, role model to big brothers everywhere.

i dont understand why such anti-conservative people as the Roach's new federalists hate liberals... if they want to send jane fonda to iran, why the hell they want the **** cheney in prison too?

Because they recognize that Bush is weak and heavily influenced by the neocons in the administration. LaRouche figures if the neocons are knocked out, and he takes the credit for it, Bush might start listening to him. Like Weimar president Hindenburg for example. That's my theory for what it's worth...

I just love the protests I've been too where all the fringe commie types is scream over on megaphones at each other and try to sell their crappy papers (except a few, like the RCP, who while crazy do some useful organizing) and never seem to do anything productive, the Sparts seem to the worse, at of the ones I've seen...
