	my entry in: Apolyton - The Book Support Apolyton, buy Call to Power 2

Hey people.

Hey DarkCloud.


I recently remembered about my entry in the Apolyton Book.

I've found it to be nice, and reminiscent of old times, but also filled with spelling and grammar mistakes ( ) and also not so true.

My personality has changed alot in the last 2 to 3 years, and so has my knowledge of my family history.

What is more annoying, is that my parents found it, and it's quite... erm.. annoying. While they aren't mad or anything... it's still wierd having them read thoughts I thought would only be read by people I'll probably never meet.

Furthermore, I'm not very pleased that so much personal knowledge about me can be so easily retrieved since google bothers to index EVERYTHING.

In short- I want it changed, and shortened, to basically civ-ish stuff, and much less personal stuff.


I decided to make this thread public, to remind people that there is such a thing, and they may very well be in it. I almost completely forgot.

Another reason why you shouldn't use your name in your handle. It makes googling much easier.

Siro, just read the article (hope you don't mind). It seems you have a heritage of which to be proud...good people working to make better lives for their children against harsh odds and reality. Why would you not want this known. Your story shows character...be proud of it.

rah - I don't really mind people googling on me and knowning of that. Though, that specific article was only meant for the members of this forum.

But, three things come to mind.

1) Some of the information is outdated and some turned out to be incorrect. I have changed a lot as a person since. I'm much more open, self-confident, mature etc. Had a gf . I have found out that I confused several stories on family history (on my dad's side).

2) It's too long, and the English is atrocious.

3) Concerning my future IDF service and possible employment options, it may turn out to be a hindrance.

It is now amazing. Less than 10 years ago, the company I used to work for paid big bucks to access privately maintained databases to get personal information on people for marketing purposes. While some of them still exist and do a good business, most of them fallen by the wayside due to all the information easily available for free on the internet now.

Ah, I see what you mean Sirotnikov. I'll try to fix it within a week- if it's not fixed, then PM me or bother me or something. I've been very busy recently with getting my novel edited for sending-off status, (that should be done in a week or two) and have even gotten behind on obligations (such as the Apolyon Hall of Fame )

Hmm... I'd update it if I had enough info for it- but it is true- I lost the impetus to update it- if I wanted I suppose I could revamp some sections of it and add some things, perhaps I will some time in the future, when I have time But the real reason it wasn't updated after its initial upload was a dearth of articles (Although Solver graciously agreed to supply me with articles If I can think of any to request )
