I'm a watching these lame new commercials for Coors light, and I'm thinking: Coors lite tastes like crap. And why use Kid Rock as your spokesman? He's like, so, year 2000.

Amstel has the best lite beer I've tasted though Sam Adams lite comes in a close second. Why not just drink the regular beer and eat two fewer tortia chips?

Those beers are bad but they aren't the worst out there. Anyone who's ever been to a frat party can tell you what utter crap natural lite is. :barf:

At $19.99 per full keg the price can't be beat though.

Beer distributor near my Uni sells 3 Natty Ice for a buck. Thats a ****ing great deal for thursday nights.

speaking of kegs.... my greatest accomplishment in college ever.

Our suite room bought a half keg with the money raised from recycled cans created by the suite members alone. That was a great day.

Natty ICe does in deed have a lite version. Natty Ice has like 7% by vol. though so it also remains a frat favorite.

He we used to do that at least once every other quarter. We could even speed up the process by having BYOB parties and then recycling the cans other people brought.

Still, cans which you and your suite mates drank is the piece de la resistance.

If you get a natty ice...... IMO you must spend a mandatory $20 fee to get a good beer first.

I might have a natty after my 4-5th beer but I will NEVER start out with a Natty. :

We used to have NAtty Ice as our outside keg which everyone who walks in could drink and then we'd have a keg of a good beer which we'd keep inside which only our friend could drink.

I didn't/don't like Natty Ice but in college free beer is sometimes the only beer you can get.

I had Amstel light..crap!

Of those poor choices, Miller light, if only cause I liked Miller better than the others in regular beer.

Amstel lite at least has a malty flavor which most lite beers lack. I normally drink darker, heavier, and stronger tasting beers though so I tend to like the hoppy flavor.

Miller Lite tastes the least bad. Coors is ungodly foul, and Bud is just undrinkable.

Yup, I chose to taste it (the only light beer ever to touch my lips) cause I had bought into the hype with the commercials. I was not impressed one bit...

I have had only a few beers I liked less...like a Cherry Stout I found bitter as heck and some cheap panamanian ale...

Overall though, I have hed good experiences with most beers..and I try new ones as often as I can.

Coors light was the beer I drank most when my first year in college.
