I just bought CIVIII PTW 2nd hand. Looking for a PBEM. Experienced at SMAX PBEM's.

You're certainly welcome and no need to beg to get into a game. All you need is a bit patience. This forum is usually quiet over the weekend, things will change during the week. Also, many players are "full" of games right now, others (like myself) are reluctant to start new ones due to the soon expected release of Conquests. But now and then appear new players, and I'm sure you'll get your opponents.

That wasn't nice, kermit.

Besides, one month of playing PtW is worth 10 $, IMHO (or whatever sum he payed for it; probably even less). Maybe he'll wait one more month after the release of Conquets, to read the reviews and then it's two months of playing already. Maybe he doesn't like to play scenarios at all and he will decide to wait a few month and buy a second hand C3C

No need to be rude.

Finally, an advice for H0bbes: post your preferences (map, nr of players, etc). You can attract more people if the setup is interesting.

Edit: H0bbes, don't forget to patch it! PtW was quite buggy in its original release. (latest patch = 1.27f)
