'area 51' refers not to a facility, but a map grid at the large military resevation there. The original base grid had some 100+ 'areas" and the perimeter was extended later. Some what about all the 100 or more other 'areas', what esle is going on there?

I would not know were to look today. If you can find the French Satellite site, then maybe, just maybe those pictures are still there. At the time they were going to change money for copies, and that is why they showed some nice picture of the Bay area, I think New York, with other cities and then area 51.

Yup, it has nothing at all to do with the fact the Egypt had been trying to make peace since Sadat came to power and the Israelis wanted to pull the troops from the Egyptian border to use in their invasion of Lebanon the next year.

The invasion of Lebanon came several years after the negociations for peace started.

You are suggesting that a step taken by a government was part of a strategy for something they would do in their next term, which is absolutely ridiculous if you know anything about Israeli politics.
