What do you people say if we change the games to be from 1998 and earlier?

This gives a little more variety...

Well, I got bored an googled it. Never heard of it, either variety.

Doesn't look like anyone else has either. If you have played it, those clues should have been enough.

Spaced Cowboy,

The game was well known in Europe at the time (Atari ST/Amiga). I guess it was a bit too obscure stateside. Will you take the honors of naming it then?

Dale's got it:

The original version of this game was released in Europe, in 1989, as "Kult: The Temple Of Flying Saucers". In 1990, it was released in the U.S., titled "Chamber Of The Sci-Mutant Priestess".

--

Both versions were also available for the Atari ST and Amiga.

--

There is quite a big error in the EGA implementation; I'm probably not explaining it properly, but it appears that one of the colours used is accidentally 'transparent' which basically results in white and cyan pixels being scattered across the game's backgrounds. If you hadn't played the game on the Atari ST or Amiga, you might think the game was meant to look like this, but it isn't. I guess it doesn't spoil the graphics *too* much (They still look very good), but it is an annoying mistake.

--

google search on "purple graphics amiga adventure game"

Dale, please start an easy one, after all you are supposed to be leaving/on your honeymoon soon.

EXCELLENT work Dale! Kult is the correct anwer!

Seeing Spaced Cowboy has already explained the details. I can only say that the game is indeed best played on the Amiga or the ST. So fire up an emulator and try it out sometime.

Okay here's an easy one.

- Released 1982 for Atari & arcade console, ported to PC (CGA version) in 1983 by NAMCO.
- Arcade sports game that "you had to have steering wheel and pedals" for.
- Set the standard for all subsequent checkpoint racer games.
- Screenshot (if this doesn't give it away you should be SHOT!)

OK.

Game from 1987.
Similar morality to GTA
Loosely based on a film.
