We'll probably need to add that this is extended to 48 hours for teams at war, but that's not important at this stage of the game.

Yes, the 24 hour rule works well in the PTWDG1 (though I also agree with Kloreep that it should be extended to 48 hours in times of war - or at least that is what is frequently happening in PTWDG1).

Support Apolyton, buy Civilization: The Boardgame

The 48 hour wartime rule is good too. I became a member of Vox after the war, but I know it takes a bit longer to plan wartime moves in these games than peacetime.
