How do you play independent europe mode in EU2? and how can you play as countries like kingdom of jerusalem?

Independent Europe is a user made scenario, downloadable here.

To play KoJ(which is extremely hard, so be warned!), you have to start as the Mamelukes, release them as a vassal(As they can't revolt and this is the only way) and reload as KoJ.

It is, but as mantioned, you have to download it separate. It's totally un-histroical, but is said to be fun. Every European province is a independant country, except the outer ones, that is empty.

Yeah, I thought all major scenarios were supported at their website and in the community, however I've never taken any notice of that one...
