'SUN'S FUND FOR BRUNO'

Just what you'd expect from a paper that, after years of supporting the Conservatives, changed sides in the general election a few years back when it became apparent that Labour was going to win.

Oh, and if that wasn't bad enough they give Richard Littlejohn a column to peddle his hatred

Reminds me of that famous issue of the Daily Mail.

On one side of the page an outraged article about paedophiles. On the opposite side of the page a picture story about how 15 year old singer Charlotte Church's breasts had developed.

(I don't think 15 year olds in the US or any other first world country are mature enough for people older than them to have sex with, but most 15 yearolds are physically developed enough to be attractive (I am referin got women of course))

I was actually appalled by the Sun's original headline, I do not normally get worked up over things like this. However this really scraped the barrel.

I wonder if Rebekah Wade's (the editors) celeb partner Ross Kemp had depression they would use the same headline

depends what you want from a newspaper. me? I just want the sport and whats on TV though if there's nice looking girl on page 3 so much the better.

I've tried going 'upmarket' but got as far as the Mail and gave up (I liked the articles and reviews, but kept getting 'wound up' by the obvious slant they put on all their reporting)

The Mail is a good paper tho, I prefer the telegraph for content but the Mail is in a more readable (will fit on lap) format.

I was dissapointed with the indy over its handling of the iraq war. Didnt its banner line used to be something about 'the broader view'? It seemed as anti-biased as other papers were pro. Its supplement, talk of the town, on sundays is pretty good stuff.

Nope, it was supposed to be the first step on the way up (like a base camp in mountaineering), but I got to the Mail, decided it wasn't worth the effort and turned back

Now I'm back to my old method of selecting my morning paper, who's got the best totty on it's centre pages. War? what war? ah, the simple life!
