Would you have left Wood in, or would you have pinch hit for him? With the bullpen and only 1 run behind, I think I would have let him hit too.

i've decided that i'm going to root for whoever's batting.

i hate it when i like both teams. happened in the world cup, too, so i rooted for whoever had the ball at the time.

the words "defense!" never came out of my mouth during those games.

Dusty was asked in the middle of the year why he let his pitchers bat in the later innings... and he respond that they were better than anybody he had on the bench. Since then, they've added some bats

It shows you how used to Winning the Division the Atlanta Fans are. This is the first divisional opening series game to sell out in a long time.

It was interesting listening to them say that delta was going to cancel some of todays flights to Atlanta from Chicago last week because they were empty. There wasn't an airplane ticket to Atlanta from Chicago to be had today. All flights sold out

Yeah... I'd say Cub Fans travel well.
