Nice game by Wood... he probably should have been pulled two batters earlier, but the bullpen was solid and didn't let in more than 1 run. Dusty, you gotta save Kerry in case things get hairy .

Dusty has a reputation for leaving his starters in too long. Especially in the playoffs, you can't let starters go too long, unless their pitch count is low.

i listened on am750 wsb atlanta because they still have skip carey (the son of the cub's carey)... tbs used to, too, when they broadcast every game. now that fox does it... i don't watch the games anymore unless i'm there at the ted.

Nahhh... I try not to bet from my heart. I still remember a playoff series with San Diego... we won the first two games at home, and only had to win one of three games in San Diego to advance...

But at least the Cubs aren't coming back home down 2 games. And who knows...

That was the first road playoff victory for the Cubs since 1945. Of course it might not count since most of the fans at the game seemed to be wearing blue.

Wife gets home last night just after me, around 7
I had just sat down was talking on th phone with a buddy about a HS reunion that I am not going to:

Her: Guess what.
Me: What (to friend on the phone), I'll call you back.
Her: My boss came by at around 11am and asked me if I wante to go to the Giants game.
Me: Yeah
Her: So I went
Me: Betch
Her: I got you a towel
Me: Great.
Her: I lost the phone
Me: Great

Sucks when I have to work all day and she gets to go to the baseball playoff game with her boss... I have the wrong job

Anyway, if there's a game 5 we've got tickets!
