Actually, the easiest way to get our GA is to use a catapult-NM combo... you bombard a defending Spearman down to 1 hp, then attack it with a full health Numidian Mercenary... Your chances of winning such a battle are exceptionally high.

As far as I'm concerned, it shouldn't be TERRIBLY difficult to get our GA as long as we have enough catapults to pull something like that.

As covered by Trip in another thread and covered in chat, they have a truckload worth of gold in the bank right now and are still making considerable income. If they hold onto that income (which is likely considering that we just prevented them from doing any upgrades by denying them a source of iron), they should have more than enough to keep their armies around for quite some time to come, even if they DO turtle.

No, we're probably going to have to take them down the old fashioned way, with blood, steel, and very large flying rocks.
