You watch very carefully who's active. Googlie usually is pretty fast in responding to people's posts. So if he's been active a few hours before, and then someone else posts (eg pirates) then Googlie posts. Then you can guess that Googlie was responding to someone.

If there's a post exchange of Team member -> Googlie -> Team member -> Googlie, then I'm almost 100% certain Googlie would be posting to that team member's forum.

I'm usually clarifying rules.

When I get up and fire up the 'net I read all the other factions' forums first, savouring the Hive's as one would look longingly at a fine wine, building the anticipation before finally opening the forum. Gotta make sure that I have enough time to do it justice, though ...
