William Pitt is interupted during his afternoon tea by a midlevel English diplomat.
"Sir, the Azande have approached us to request building rights in North America."
"What? Eastern North America is ours, granted to us by God himself. What specifically do they want?"
"Just one city on the island of New Foundland. They said they need a presence in the north and it will only help us in the long run."
"Hmmm, I wonder what that means..."
"I'm not sure sir, they have a 'presence' nearly everywhere in the world. A nation of small island kingdoms scattered around the globe. Quite puzzling to me sir."
"Yes quite. Though with a city so close to our American mainland, and in truth not far from our European mainland it could prove dangerous for us were relations ever to sour with the Azande. That could be used as a base from which to launch attacks on British soil."
"But sir, the Azande have been our friends for thousands of years, why would they possibly want to attack us?"
"Why would they possibly want a 'presence' in the north?"
"Hmm, good question."
"This offer will require much thought..."
"What is that noise? Oh God..."

Disaster Strikes the Colonies
The colonies are in turmoil with what appears to be an outbreak of revolution. Fighters from the rogue terrorist outfit the Sons of Liberty have taken arms against the King in a series of battles in the colonies. After years of rabblerousing by this terrorist organization, their poisonous propaganda has inflicted colonies at all levels. The King has dispatched British riflemen to the colonies to put down this pathetic rebellion.
Chief advisor William Pitt could not be reached for a comment, but this paper is certain the government will have the situation under control in short order. Loyal British subjects in Williamville and Quebec have expelled the rebels from their midst. Great victories against terrorism.
==========================
Tax Evasion
Terrorist activity has increased over the last few years. Many colonists were encouraged to stop paying their taxes. Clearly it is selfish greed motivating these rebel groups, despite the many rich plantation owners and aristrocrats behind this movement their greed is such they refuse to pay into the common good through taxes. The common man in Britain and the kingdom suffer through their selfish greed.
==========================
New York Tea Attack
In protest of their taxpaying civic duty Sons of Liberty terrorists assaulted a trading vessel in the New York harbor. After an unpatriotic boycott of British tea the terrorists threw the ship's cargo of tea into the water. This violent act resulted in property damage of many thousands of gold, and the ships crew were injured during the take over. Over 50 members of the outlawed Sons of Liberty participated, dressing up as Indians to disguise their identity.
==========================
Guerilla Attack in Lexington & Concord
In response to the Tea attack, the British garrison instituted a curfew and strict gun control laws to protect the safety of the New York people. Good sources indicate the Sons of Liberty were building caches of arms. Without registering or licencing these weapons the public is put at risk of misuse of these dangerous weapons. Reports indicate even children as young as 8 have handled and used these firearms.
The danger to public health and threat of future attacks forced the hand of British authorities who moved in on a rumored stockpile of arms in the New England town of Lexington. The radical gun nuts in the area resisted, and assembled a ragtag guerilla group to assault the British officers. It is assumed the guerillas were tipped off ahead of time by a local printer named Paul Revere. He is currently being held for questioning. There was loss of life on both sides in the ensueing conflict. Not wanting any more unnecessary loss of life, the British traveled back to New York to wait for more reinforcements. The dangerous hoodlums are still at large in the countryside, still armed.
==========================
Young Ruffians Assault Soldiers
Outside of a New York barracks, local troublemakers started a conflict with British troops garrisoned there. Two lads resisted arrest after commiting the crime of disrespecting a police officer. They ran away and other youth from the area arrived who assaulted the British troops. A crowd assembled who began to throw objects at the troops. Colonist rabblerousers claim they were just snowballs, but fearing rocks and chunks of ice the soldiers had no choice but to open fire in self-defense. Six colonists were killed including three youth and an Azande man named Crispus Attucks.

She felt sad at the latest intelligence. Out of genuinely good motives did come mistrust and suspicion by her long time friends. She sensed the spell of the North had befallen her English allies.
She cried such tears that it was said a great storm did stir in far off lands...

~Open Letter to all members of the Egyptian Administration~
The mentioned maintenance of a TarTar/Egypt bond is not only ordered, but of common sense interest to both parties. The direction of recent TarTartian position has no ambition of straining relations; nor in extreme case does my own soldier breed care to match any form of war. This latter would provide nothing more than the slow warping of barrels on our many Chinese rifles, and the subsequent amassing of corpse based fertilizer by any foreign divisions marching about our cityside fields.
I must admit a weary prediction of your own future actions; according to the recent state driven mass murder of Egyptian citizens by crude religious justification. Just as such - I do as well carry bias for your accompanying dismissal of the late General Zylka as enemy, which came regardless of the love and ambition he showed for your people. Yet as neutral mercenary myself - these of course will be regarded as internal matter of the Egyptian state.
Rest assured, I will watch like a Vanqouver Island eagle your own external actions in the next while. These are regarded just as relevant to happiness and stability in our shared region as any possible direction of, say, Serbian intent.
*The author withholds writing "hint hint" directly after; for kind want to preserve Raz' integrity in the face of his fellow Egyptians meant to read this in forum*
In any case, TarTardom will be seeking to extend new networks of commerce in inner asian lands as soon as possible, if you are so interested. We presently tire of cleaning more rifles than will ever be needed to burst like cheap wine hides any testosterone driven bodies of senseless approach. In your infinte wisdom of decision, I hope to see confirmation of like desire for butter over guns - on all fronts of your noble land; and across this small, human world.
Sincerely,
General Akylezze

Alas, the wonder of the ages is dead! A terrible earthquake has joined with the beast from the southern ocean - a monsoon of Mabharatic proportions - to destroy our beloved Hanging Gardens. The once fabled meeting of our heavenly Father and Earthly Mother is no more, the symbol of life from above joining with Mother earth has crumbled into a heap of mud! Shiva has taken the dreaded form of the Great Destroyer and the source of our happiness no longer exists...
What shall we do? WHAT SHALL WE DO?
The people cry out in sorrow and lamentations are heard throughout the land from the Indus and Hindu Kush to the distant land down under and the land of fire and gold...
The people are unhappy Lord!
The Lord speaks - our theologians have joined forces with our political scientists and philosophers and have devised a new form of government! All Hail Fascism!!!
The people rejoice in their new found ideology, democracy has served it's purpose, but this new system has given the people new goals, new desires, and a new fervor with which to order society. No longer shall the individual serve as the foundation of society, now we shall join hands to serve the greater good of the nation... Seek happiness thou, seek happiness in what we will achieve as a nation...
Inspite of fascism and the elimination of despondency, the people of Delhi still felt an emptiness with the loss of their Hanging Gardens. So the people set out to construct a new university, a second university to compliment our Hall of the Sciences and Great Observatory. A university to teach the arts, and theaters throughout the city for trained entertainers - actors, singers, performers, and the like - to alleviate the sadness over the loss of our Hanging Gardens. Thus Delhiwood was born...

What troubles thee, Lord? What plagues thy mind?
The Lord Berzerker confides to his cultural advisor...
Fascism has been nothing short of miraculous in supressing unhappiness throughout the empire, but alas, while Delhi has built magnificent wonders making it the greatest metropolis in the known world, there is a downside to our splendor. The people of Delhi, with their universities and theaters, have developed an arrogant attitude - an elitist mentality.
The common people, although enamored and in awe of Delhi's achievements, have come to view Delhi as a world apart - a land of celebrities and intellectuals with little attachment to mainstream India. A culture war is brewing with populists in the countryside speaking against the elitism of Delhiwood.
These populists are not without justification, fascism was meant to unify us yet the people of Delhiwood have set themselves apart from the masses. How are we to be one nation when Delhiwood is a nation unto itself and grows distant from the people?
"But Lord, was this not the case under democracy? Did not the greatness of Delhi set it apart not only from the people of India but the world?"
This is true, but I fear the new ideology is not as conducive to this matter of "classes" among the people. I suspect democracy will prove to be... the worst system except for all the rest... We shall see, we shall see!
