24-Hour Rule for Turns? Support Apolyton, buy Civilization: The Boardgame

It has been requested that this be polled on within our forum.

It would be very nice if our vote was unanimous on this. Please discuss the issue before committing to a vote. We will vote on the issue once we have come to an agreement about how to vote.

I am currently leaning toward voting yes on this proposal, but I'm certainly open to either yes or no.

The Committee for Public Safety and the Common Good should discuss this issue and then let the people know of our decision.

I'm inclined to vote yes, although PTWDG experience shows that teams will cheerfully ignore the 24 hour rule if they need more time to play their turns for any reason. But as a device for moving the game along, and applying some kind of pressure to get the turn finished in a reasonable time, it seems to work okay.

yes,

I can guarentee turn played within 24 hours, unless I give prior warning of absenteeism (sp).

However I still think you guys should play the turns too. I've played them all for a while now. Especially Arnelos being US, if the save arrives when us UK members are sleeping.

Ok, got it. I can play turns as well, I just waited on this turn primarily because of the confusion over the turndate.

Just a note: Sorry about me not posting much lately. I had problems with my ram and a defective motherboard, so my gaming pc was out of commission for quite a while and all I had was a laptop with linux. I'll be back around more often now.
