I just got the save and my starting spot is fine. If everyone's starting area is alright we can go ahead and play this game. That way wel will have it running quicker.

Side note: only my civ and opponents' civs are not really optimal: I got Spain, versus Rome, Zululand and Carthage! On a tiny map...Yikes
