Is GS playing for a Diplo Win?

Allowing Vox to survive, 'restoring' RP...

All they would need is to eliminate either us or ND to seal a diplo win assuming RP and Vox agreed to that as part of the arrangement....

I believe they have taken my comment on 'hoplessly outnumbered' combined with our withdrawl to mean that we lost heavily on the deal.

I cannot elaborate, but let me say we really did a number on GS. Driving, at least temporarily, a wedge between many of them back with that RoP. They are currently not interested in us at all diplomatically, not even for Trappings. I have received many seperate PM's both private or not, none of them know if I have been contacted or not officially. NYE did post my message, but they don't seem aware of each other's answers.

Will leave know if anything truly interesting shows.

Vox is more likely to vote Lego....(Their strongest supporter)

For GS to win, they need to get off their continent.
This restoring RP crap is just so that they have an ally left.

Maybe it's just me, but why on Earth would someone want to live as a vassal with no "real" power for the greater part of the game? I know I sure wouldn't, and I sure as heck wouldn't give my UN vote to my destroyers, regardless. Infact, I would do whatever I could so that they couldn't win (as in our deal in the IDG ). After that, I would go down fighting, that is much more "honorable" than being made to submit to another civ.

I wouldn't actively try to keep a team from winning just because they beat me, I would if they did something I considered borderline unethical or questionable.

In the ISDG, Gamecatcher's "magical" numbers were questionable which is why I supported seeing them wiped out of the game. But I don't bear that kind of feelings towards GS.

Survivor ain't got anything on us when it comes to backstabbing, manipulation of other, and just downright nastiness.

Actually an EVIL part of me thought about gifting Merida to Lego, then have lego gift it to ND. That way GS would ahve to attack Lego to get it, and I doubt they would.
