	Forum Exchange Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

This was talked about before but never really happened,

What do people think to one of GS joining the RP private forum and one of RP joining this here? So that we both know whats going on with each other.

Does this need to have a blackball/whiteball vote?

I've always thought this was a good idea, to promote co-opeation, and to ensure they don't get any rebellious ideas after we've won.

I wouldn't probably have a problem with that. I don't think we've said anything negative about them, really, maybe something about togas months ago...

That's probably a good idea. Its not like we can be slick about this and hide the double membership, the shield will be there for everyone to see.

It is possible to hide the double membership, after a fashion. Create a new account, and make it a member of both teams. Never post in any public forums with this account, and no-one will ever see a member with both shields.

This is a double login of course, and against forum rules, so may be zapped by Ming.

I notice that BigFree has started a similar poll in the public forum on whether allies should be allowed access to each other's saves or not.

MasterZen currently has the ND sheild showing, whether he has access to their forum or is just using it as a means to show allegance is questionable, as is the suspicious number of people in the GoW roster who have no posts at al.
How could they have become members without first posting a request to become a member, or without posting on poly anywhere else ever?

edit - scratch that last bit, other teams, including us, have people on the roster who have never posted ever..

probably people creating fake logins to see if they can join another team, but being stymied by the requirement of being approved. Requests to become a membet can be done via PM though, so posts not necessarily required.

If it's done, it needs to be done openly.

BigFree's thread was different - he was talking about access to the save, but I'm afraid that by bring up such an obviously out-of-bounds subject, an attempt to clear dual forum membership is now doomed to fail.

I could be wrong, of course...

I agree. I don't know what he was thinking. It appeared as if basically one team could play both saves, which is way way over the line.

oddly enough I just noticed that MZ is wearing the ND pyramid.

Is that just for show, should that be investigated? hmm. There is not an ND who is "in" Gow. Of couirse, all that's misleading, as ND does the vast majority of its work offsite.

Was a conclusion reached here? I'd say no to RP access for reasons of sovereignty, security and possible embarrasment.

If there are communication problems there must be another way. How can we openly discuss our team's objectives when we know another team has access all areas save the save?

well, due to Bigfree's misframing of the issue, its dead in the water.
All valid concerns. I know a lot has been said about certain Rp'ers in the distant past, and undoubtedly we would find ugliness over there...

I know, chats worked for a while, but its quite hard to get everyone together now.

not to mention that GoW has been holding their bugged save for some time now.

bah, I think that the embarrasment would be moderate. Sure, there have been a few comments, but very few personal ones, IIRC.

That said, I don't know if I support the idea. It would be easier for certain things, but take away part of the fun, after all we're two separate teams with a common goal, not 1 team...

Well, I for one have someplace raised the question of the future of the GS-RP relationship, should the Bob War be successful.

I wouldn't like to present myself to an RP official with info or an info request if they knew that I'd been discussing their potential vassalisation as a research core for us on Bob.
