	Nominations for Consular Election (due Saturday) Full PM-box? Change here!

All Nominations must be made by the 4th of October (this Saturday)

The seat up for election is the seat currently held by notyoueither.

Anyone who is a citizen and currently does not hold ANOTHER Consul seat may choose to run.

The election vote itself will start on October 7th (next Tuesday) and will last for 48 hours. If a second round is needed, it will start immediately after the first and will also last for 48 hours.

2-way ties to determine the winner of the election are broken by the current holder of the office (notyoueither).

Ties broken merely to determine which 2 candidates may progress to the second round in the event of 3 or more candidates are broken by a vote of the Consuls and the Ministers (excluding the Consul whose seat is up for election).

If nobody else runs I'll be willing to do it. Though i've been involved in this game such a short time it doesn't seem right. Also I'll be gone 3 or 4 days later this month.
But if thats not a problem, put my name in this ring. I would not be seriously hurt though if somebody else stepped up. Also I do have the advanatge of having worked with almost all of our government in one way or another.

I am honored to be nominated, but I have to seriously consider if I want to accept the nomination. IMO, NYE has been an oustanding Consul and so long as he is serious about remaining one of our leaders, I am reluctant to run against him.

Well, let me tell you folks, honesty and integrity and hard work will only take you so far in love and life and Civ 3. When the going gets tough, as it is right now for us in the game, what we need is some dis-information, some intrigue, and an anarchy with an edge to it. We need an even more centralist form of government, where the consular powers and the team authorization powers are concentrated in one office. Where dissent and questioning of the leadership and its decisions is not tolerated. Where everyone knows and tows the part line. Where people know when to stay mute in chats.

Oh yes - I need to be nominated. I actually have a list here signed by 38 ISDG members who support my campaign. Will one of you please come forward publicly and nominate me.

The first to do so will get an office on the third floor of the palace upon my election, and can use my chaffeured carriage when I am not out on speaking engagements or visiting my trollops.. er I mean troops.
